Kayaking on the Keys...a once in a lifetime experience!

Curry Hammock State Park...March 1-7
Kayaking on the Keys...had to post about our amazing trip today!!

I know that I am posting a little early...but I just had to share ourictures from our kayak trip today.  We rented 2 two person kayaks to explore this unique part of the Florida Keys.  It was amazing to kayak into a mangrove forest with such low clearance at times that you had to duck to get through.  It was like nothing we have ever seen in our lives.  We saw lots of fish, crabs, birds and best of all iguanas. They were just hanging out in the trees that lined part of the waterway.  We have never seen iguanas expects in the pet store.  It is hard to even see them in the pictures because they are so camoflauged.

Just entering the mangrove forest...we had no idea what was ahead!!
My rowing partner...ducking for the low lying branches.

Look closely and you will see the iguanas!!
Here is the swimming area at the campground.  The boys have just loved swimming and playing in the water.
Thanks for letting me share about our cool kayaking trip today!
