Uncle Kyle's House...Phoenix, AZ
We have had an amazing three days at Kyle's house in Phoenix. He has a beautiful home that he graciously shared with us the past 3 days. The boys may jump out of the truck as we are leaving...they had a great time. Who wouldn't love going out to eat, playing Play Station 4 with Uncle Kyle and dunk hoops at the country club all with perfect 70+ degree weather outside.
Lots of Madden, FIFA and Need for Speed.
Abby and I relaxing in the comfy chair!!
We took two great bike rides. One down to a nearby park and the other to downtown Scottsdale.
Curt and I tried out our new TRX system/camping style, at the park. Curt made this in Spokane...he is a genius! It was fun to work out in the sun.
Uncle Kyle challenged the boys to count all the change in his change jar. They loved it and he let them keep all the coins as spending money on the trip. MAJOR SCORE!!
Beautiful canal bike ride to Old Town Scottsdale. Such a cool town and great weather for a bike ride.
I was so happy to see Maureen, a teaching friend from P.V. She is teaching first grade in the Glendale area and it was such a blessing to go on a walk together and show her our travel map.
Tomorrow morning we are going to go to the Phoenix Science Museum. I am sure that we will all love it...the boys are at a perfect age for science centers. In the afternoon we will pull out of Uncle Kyle's paradise and travel about 45 minutes to Lost Dutchmen State Park. I will update at the end of the week. We are praying that we can get settled and get into our home-school routine...it feels a little too much like summer around here. (which has been awesome!)
